After the age of 3, all children are entitled to Government funding of 15 hours free childcare. Parents can choose which sessions they would like their child to attend to use up their 15 hours. Any parents wishing to have more than this can simply pay for the additional sessions.

We welcome children to attend who are still 2 years old, providing that they are going to turn 3 within their starting term. They are known as 'rising threes' and parents can pay for any sessions that they wish their child to attend.

The Nursery is currently working towards OFSTED requirements for taking younger 2 year olds as some of these children are now entitled to childcare funding. Parents will be notified when these sessions will begin.

From April 2015 the government introduced additional funding for nursery age children. The Early Years Pupil Premium provides an extra 53 pence per hour for three and four year old children whose parents are in receipt of certain benefits or who were formally in local authority care but who left care because they were adopted or were subject to a special guardianship or child arrangements order. This means an extra £302 a year for each child taking up the full 570 hours funded entitlement to early education.  This additional money could make a significant difference to us. If you think you child may be entitled to this funding please complete the form below.
